I’ve always relied on logic to make sense of myself and the world.
A prescriptionist at heart, I’ve always looked to reason to find the rhyme, the practical to get to the mystical, the choreography to find the dance, the proof to get to the truth, and reality to get to the dream.
I’ve been finding that tougher to do lately. It’s more than hard to know what to believe in; it’s hard to believe.
But I don’t want to quit believing, and I don’t want to stop believing in . . . humanity, you, myself, our potential.
I think it’s time for us to flip the script on what’s historically been our means of making sense, and instead open our aperture to enchantment and look to faith, belief, and dreams for our reality.
Let’s sing more than we might make sense, believe in more than the world can conclude, get more impressed with the wow instead of the how, let inspiration interrupt our appointments, dream our way to reality, serve some soul food to our hungry heads, put proof on the shelf for a season, and rhyme our way to reason.
Forget logic, certainty, owning, or making a start-up company of it; let’s go beyond what we can merely imagine, and believe, in the poetry of life.

Size Exchanges for New Apparel
For new, unworn apparel, Belleville will generally accommodate a size exchange when the same item is available in another size.
Items must be unworn, unused, with original tags attached, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Size exchanges are subject to current inventory availability.
If the requested size is no longer available or the item is no longer carried, the purchase remains subject to Belleville’s final-sale policy unless another exception is approved by our team.
Online Order Damages & Issues
When your online order arrives, please inspect it promptly. If an item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at hello@bellevillemarket.com or call (484) 212-5605 so we can review the issue and help make it right.
Please include your order number and photos of the item and packaging when applicable.
Rare Circumstance Returns & Exchanges
In limited circumstances, Belleville may approve a return or exchange.
If a return is approved, the item must be returned at your expense within 14 days of the original purchase and must be:
- In the same condition in which it was received
- Unworn or unused
- With original tags
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
A 33.3% restocking fee may apply to approved returns.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned even when exceptions are granted, including:

- Seasonal merchandise, including Christmas and Harvest décor
- Paint
- Vintage and antique merchandise
- Items sold as-is
- Sale and clearance merchandise

- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Gift cards
Sale items and gift cards are always final sale.
Refunds
Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we’ll notify you whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
