Job Description
The Guest Services Specialist is responsible for being the face of Belleville Market and provides our guests with exceptional retail service. The Guest Services Specialist connects with guests in genuine and authentic ways while sharing information about the full Belleville Market experience, including our merchants, products, services, and events.
The Guest Services Specialist possesses the attention to detail necessary to ensure that the sales floor is fully stocked in a way that represents merchandising standards, knows how to identify guests needs, and can help bring them to life. This position works from Belleville Market in Easton, Pennsylvania. It reports to the Guest Experience Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and embody company values in your appearance and service
- Greet guests to the store with enthusiasm
- Demonstrate excellent customer care skills including capturing guest information at point of sale, following up with clients regarding promotions, new product arrivals, etc
- Drive conversion by telling the stories of products and generating conversation with guests
- Replenish product to the sales floor as needed
- Exhibit awareness of current promotional events and sales
- Learn and use all available technology to perform daily tasks, including Macintosh programs, customer relationship management, and point of sale systems
- Work as a team player to ensure each guest receives the best service possible
- Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment
- Assist operations team with shipping and receiving of goods
- Participate in regular one-on-ones, store events, staff meetings, and inventories as scheduled

Requirements
- Be positive, empathetic, honorable, and self-aware
- Be dependable, on-time, and able to work within agreed scheduling needs for the store
- Strong verbal communication skills, coachable, passion for customer service and delivering an exceptional experience for guests
- Have a working knowledge of Macintosh and Google Workspace products
- Possess 2+ years working in a retail environment
- Must be available to work weekends, nights, special events, and holidays
- Be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, move easily and safely up and down stairs and ladders, and be on your feet multiple hours per day

Position Summary
We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and hands-on Stock & Operations Coordinator to keep our back-of-house and floor operations running smoothly. You’ll manage inventory, oversee online order fulfillment, assist with restocking and merchandising, monitor perishables, and support cross-department operations. This role is essential to ensuring our guests always find what they’re looking for, while helping our store function efficiently behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stockroom Operations
- Receive, inspect, and check in shipments; verify quantities and condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize the stockroom for efficiency.
- Assist with cycle counts, shrink prevention, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Monitor perishables/food inventory; track expiration dates, rotate stock, and manage waste or markdowns as needed.
Online & Fulfillment Support
- Pick, pack, and ship online orders promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with Guest Services and Operations team to coordinate timely fulfillment.
Floor & Department Support
- Assist Guest Services with restocking floor merchandise during peak periods.
- Support Men’s Department and other sections with inventory management.
- Assist with floor moves, merchandising resets, and visual updates.
Process & Operations Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in stockroom, fulfillment, and floor processes.
- Collaborate with the Director of Retail Operations to implement improvements.
General Store Operations & Upkeep
- Support overall store operations beyond inventory, helping maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment.
- Perform light janitorial and maintenance tasks such as trash removal, breaking down boxes, spot cleaning, paint touch-ups, and other minor upkeep as needed.
- Ensure the showroom, stockroom, and common areas are safe, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Assist with operational tasks such as changing water dispensers, stocking cleaning supplies, or other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; retail or operations experience preferred.
- Experience in stockroom operations, inventory management, or fulfillment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift, move merchandise, and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment; flexible with hours.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in recordkeeping and data entry.
- Proficient with inventory systems and basic computer tools.
- Reliable transportation.
Working Conditions
- Work in the stockroom, sales floor, and shipping areas.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting required throughout the shift.

Position Overview
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will help plan, organize, and execute events that drive guest engagement and strengthen Belleville Market’s identity as a neighborhood destination.
This role will start as a part-time position, focusing on coordination and execution, with the goal of evolving into a full-time role as Belleville’s marketing and event programming expand.
You’ll be the bridge between our internal team, merchants, and community partners — helping turn ideas into memorable experiences.
PHASE 1: Part-Time (Launch Stage)
Approx. 20–25 hours per week
Core Focus
Establish consistency and communication around events and marketing while building the foundation for a larger program.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics and vendor communication for Belleville Street Faire
- Assist with planning and execution of in-store activations (Minimum of 1–2 per month)
- Work with merchants to promote their in-store events or demos
- Maintain the master event calendar and communicate key dates internally
- Support content creation for events — photos, short videos, and social posts
- Draft event-related email marketing and social captions (in collaboration with management)
- Create simple in-store signage or print materials using templates
Assist with post-event wrap-ups and photo archiving - Be present at key events for coordination and guest support
Skills & Experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Take ownership of Belleville Market’s marketing and events calendar — from strategy and concepting to execution and storytelling.
Additional Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute all seasonal campaigns and flagship events (Street Faire, Holiday Open House, Spring Kickoff, etc.)
- Manage marketing communications, including social media scheduling (Zoho Social) and email newsletters
- Develop and pitch new in-store activations — workshops, demos, pop-ups, and partnerships
- Work closely with the Merchant Management team to build merchant engagement and co-hosted events
- Oversee event logistics, staffing, and budget coordination
- Write, design, and schedule event promotions and recaps
- Build community relationships (local partners, media, sponsors)
- Develop and manage marketing materials and brand consistency
- Track and report event metrics (attendance, sales lift, engagement)
- Lead event-day coordination and vendor relations for Street Faire
