There’s something about a warm afternoon at Belleville Market—the buzz of local shoppers, the scent of fresh fruit in the air, and the joy of discovering a small-batch gem that turns an ordinary day into something special. That’s exactly how we felt the first time we sampled the Sangria Cocktail Mix from Wood Stove Kitchen—rich, aromatic, and ready to become a staple in our Taste of Belleville collection.
This Strawberry Citrus Sangria recipe celebrates the season with a splash of ginger ale and a mix of fresh and frozen strawberries and oranges. It’s bright, fizzy, and effortless—the kind of drink you want to serve on a sunny porch with good friends and plenty of stories to share.
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wood Stove Kitchen Sangria Cocktail Mix (available at Belleville Market)
- 2 cups ginger ale, chilled
- 1 cup fresh-cut strawberries
- 1 cup frozen strawberries (to act as ice)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- ½ cup frozen orange slices
- Optional: ½ cup white wine or rosé (for an adult version)
- Ice (if needed)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the Sangria Cocktail Mix and ginger ale.
- Add the fresh strawberries and orange slices.
- Stir gently, then add the frozen strawberries and frozen orange slices to chill the sangria without diluting it.
- Optional: Add wine if you'd like to give it more kick.
- Let it sit for 10–15 minutes in the fridge to allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve over ice in glasses garnished with extra fruit if desired.
