Greetings Merchants! Can you believe it's almost July!? Which means it's time for our Summer Sale Holiday.
As always, your participation in our sale events is strictly voluntary. But if you do wish to participate, please be sure to let us know what your offer(s) will be no later than Friday 6/28. We will begin promoting your sales on July 1st with social media posts and an e-newsletter, where applicable. If you'd like to be included we must receive notice of your promotions by Friday. As a reminder, if you offer a booth-wide discount, we can set that up for you in ConsignCloud on our end. If you are discounting select items, then you will need to mark those items down within the system yourself. Please note that you do NOT need to retag these items.
Some best practices for a successful event:
- Signage is absolutely crucial. If you run a sale, and don't have any signage in your booth promoting your sale, then you are just giving random discounts to customers who would have purchased your items at full price anyway.
- Signage should clearly state what your offer is, and list any exclusions (if any). Please include your booth name/brand name on your signage so that it's clear that your discount only applies to products within your booth.
- If your sale is only on select items, then try to group these items together on one shelf or one area of your booth for optimal impact.
- Promote your sale (and the Belleville sale event) on your social channels for maximum exposure.
