With the recent implementation of the new ConsignCloud program, we’re aggressively working on the first phase of our e-commerce program launch. To keep things manageable at first, we’ve started with select products and merchandise categories; but we are now ready to open it up to everyone.
Not all products will be accepted onto the website during the launch period. Likewise, you're not required to sell your products online. While we're going to promote "Buy Local, Online", we'll of course continue to promote the overall in-store Market experience since that will always be our main focus.

If your item is accepted, here are some key points to keep in mind.
Is there an additional charge to list items on the website?
As of now, we are not charging a monthly fee to have your items listed. However, to cover the overhead and labor of this effort, we will charge a 5% commission for each item sold. (this is in addition to your base commission. IE: 15%) The additional online commission will only be charged if the customer selects to ship the item. It will not be charged when the customer chooses to pick up the item in-store.
What items are eligible for the website?
Right now, we’re not limiting the number of listings per merchant. However, potential website items should easily be shipped in a box that is approximately 12"x12"x12".
How to prepare my item(s) in ConsignCloud?
- Ensure your product title accurately reflects your product: Your brand name will automatically show up on your BM website listing.
- Add quality product photos to your listing(s). We recommend square for your first photo. Photos should be high res, and clear. Items without quality photos will not be accepted.
- Confirm that your inventory quantity is correct !! - the quantity of items you have on our sales floor MUST ALWAYS match the amount you show in-stock in ConsignCloud. This ensures that if an item sells online, there is actual quantity to pull from.
- Create a website ready product description for your item(s). This should be entered in the “DETAILS” field in ConsignCloud. Description should include things like color, product dimensions, detailed information about the product, if vintage, the condition of the product, etc. Anything that will inform the customer and help to sell your product!
- Enter the weight of your product. The weight should be accurate as this will determine what the customer will pay for shipping. Please note that if the weight you enter is incorrect and we're charged more for shipping that what we've charged the customer, your account will be debited the difference.
- Select the appropriate product category. IE: Toys & Games, Apparel Kids, Apparel Baby, Vintage, Candles, Home Decor, etc. Let us know if you have questions on how to categorize your products.
Let's get selling!
Your listing(s) will be included on all of our virtual channels including, website, Google shopping, Facebook and Instagram pages, etc. When an item sells, we’ll pull the item from your space, pack it, and ship it to the customer.After you complete the above for each of the items you’d like listed, please send an email to admin@bellevillemarket.com listing each item number you'd like to have considered for the website. We will need to go into our system and approve these and make them active for sale on the website. Likewise, if any of the items are discontinued or become no longer available, you’ll want to let us know so we can remove them. (We’re working on an easier workflow for this.)
In the next few weeks, we'll have official guidelines sent out, but we definitely wanted to get the ball rolling now.
